TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Lessons are tailored to each individual student’s abilities and learning style, with the goal of developing technical fluency, artistry, and expression. Recital and festival participation is encouraged because it provides motivation, builds self-confidence and offers the challenge of working towards a goal.
While most of my students will not choose a career in music, it is my goal to help each one develop a love and appreciation of music. I hope that music will be a source of pleasure that will last them a lifetime.
